Resolution No. 407
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of
September 16, 1971, approved the following names for certain
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii:
Kuakini Heights, Unit II Subdivision, Laaloa lst and 2nd, and.
Kapaalaea lst, North Kona, Hawaii
Ainanani Street - meaning beautiful land.
Koana Way - meaning space or spacing between rows
Mele Place - meaning song or chant
Paulina Place - Pauline
Emalia Place - Emily
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the said roadways located in the County of Hawaii,
State of Hawaii, be named as follows:
Kuakini Heights, Unit II Subdivision, Laaloa lst and 2nd, and
Kapalaalaea 1st, North Kona, Hawaii (delineated. on map
attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof)
Ainanani Street - meaning beautiful land
Koana Way - meaning space or spacing between rows
Mele Place - meaning song or chant
Paulina Place - Pauline
Emalia Place - Emily
1971.
