COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />orf OF�NF'•I, <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION <br />OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII BY AMENDING RULE NO. 69 <br />STANDING COMMITTEES. <br />WHEREAS, the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of <br />Hawaii ("the Rules") govern the affairs of the Council of the County of Hawaii ("Council"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Rules were duly adopted as provided in Resolution No. 4-18 during the <br />initial convening of the Council on December 3, 2018; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council finds that the Rules could be improved by amending Rule No. <br />6, Standing Committees, to ensure the focus of a specific Committee by changing its name; and <br />WHEREAS, the amendment to Rule No. 6, Standing Committees, as indicated in <br />Ramseyer format (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, material to be added is <br />underscored) is attached as "Exhibit A" and is incorporated herein by reference; now therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />Rule No. 6 of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawaii <br />is hereby amended as indicated in the attached "Exhibit A". <br />
