Hello, I am a frequent visitor to the Big Island. I visit Kona on the Big Island every 6 months
or so. I have been distressed to learn about the potential changes that are going to be made into
law there that will restrict the availability of rentals to folks like me.
It would make it much more difficult for me to be able to visit there twice a year if I have to
stay in a hotel that has a $200+ a night cost. It seems to me that these changes favor the big
hotels and corporations rather than the good folks who were born there or live there.
I beg you to reconsider ideas that would destroy the livelihood of so many people and make it
much more difficult to visit your beautiful Island.
