Bill 108 threatens our business and family income.
My family lives and operates vacation rentals on our 20 acres. We are Alaska residents who bought property in
Puna 3 years ago.We bought this property specifically because it was a successful vacation rental and we plan to
move here full time as our children grow up.Our property and structures were severely affected by the recent
eruption and our business has slowed to 1/4 of what was.
• All of our rentals are fully permitted and we are current on all of our state and county taxes.We employ five people
locally.Bill 108 threatens our business,livelihoods and of five other families in Puna.
Please do not implement bill 108! Please don't put us out of business!
If this bill does pass,please include Eileen OHara's amendments.
