SUBJECT: Contingency Relief Funds (Council District 8)
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of
Research and Development to provide a grant to Big Island Resource Conservation and
Development Council (BIRCDC)to assist the Kona Soil and Water Conservation District
(KSWCD)with expenses for educational materials relating to land degradation and soil depletion
in the Kona district.
Attached is a resolution authorizing the transfer of$1,000 from the Clerk-Council Services— •
