COUNTY OF HAWAII = % • STATE OF HAWAII <br /> s =R:.�_ :_ <br /> • <br /> •'�j.4 w.vso <br /> OFHr� <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 27 19 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A FIVE <br /> (5) YEAR, MULTI-YEAR S AGREEMENT WITH ECONOLITE SYSTEMS <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later <br /> fiscal year or more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement is for continued software support and annual <br /> upgrades of the current Centracs Advanced Traffic Management System being used by <br /> the Department of Public Works' Traffic Division; and <br /> WHEREAS, a multi-year agreement results in a cost savings of <br /> approximately 19% relative to the single-year rate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County wishes to enter into a five (5) year, multi-year <br /> subscription agreement with Econolite Systems for software maintenance and upgrades <br /> as indicated above; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a multi-year subscription agreement and that <br /> sufficient funds will be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the anticipated <br /> obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
