Funds will be used by the Hawai`i <br /> County Police Department to set up a streamlined process to allow the Hawai`i Police Department <br /> to disclose government records to the State Department of Health. <br /> Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawai`i Department of Health, <br /> Office of Health Status Monitoring to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance <br /> amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $7,500 grant. <br /> The Police request that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the <br /> January 9, 2019 Council agenda in order to expedite the receipt of these funds. We are also asking <br /> that a breach be authorized to submit this bill after today's noon deadline in order to meet the <br /> waiver request-date.
