HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 177 Draft 01 1972-1976County of Hawaii --State of Hawaii Resolution WHEREAS, a portion of the Kaauhuhu Homestead Road located in Kaauhuhu, North Kohala, Hawaii has not been abandoned; and WHEREAS, said portion of roadway is no longer of any use to the County of Hawaii; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P.ESOL'FD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that a portion of the Kaauhuhu Homestead Road located within the Kaauhuhu Homesteads in North Kohala, Hawaii, as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit A, be and is hereby declared abandoned as a roadway on condition that the abandonment shall become effective upon completion of construction and dedication of the by-pass road delineated in green. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Department of Land and Natural Resources, State of Hawaii, Stillman Ranch, and to the Department of Public Works of the County of Hawaii.
