dovelonment of a County laborers organization in the early
formation years earning the lasting admiration, respect and
friendship of his fellow workers, his many friends and
numerous Big Islanders who had the opportunity and good
fortune to be associated with him; and
W -HER -117 -A -S P 1111E`1 KONG YAP, born on January 2, 1912, to
lih To and En Tet Yap into a family of 12 children, retired
on December 31, 1973, after more than forty-two years of
governmental service;
MOIA11 THEREFORE. B1.7. IT RESOLVED by the Council of th,--%
County of Hawaii that it extends to �..ILW KONG YAP its heartfelt
Mahalo for his dedicated servicer -:1 to the people of the County of
Hawaii; and
BA IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be and is here -by directed to forward a copy of this
resolution to 11r. MP— W WING YT as a token of the County's
appreciation for such a lengthy govr1_-rnmn_ntal sn-rvice and to
extend to 'vi -r. Yap the County's wishes for success in his nova
life in retirement.
