BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: That it is necessary, for the public use and purpose, to wit: Waiakea Uka Drainage Improvements, situate at Waiakea Homesteads, 2nd Series, Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, to take, acquire and condemn the easement rights hereinafter described and to that end and for that purpose the Corporation Counsel of the County of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to initiate proceedings in eminent domain, as provided by law, for the taking, acquisition and condemnation of the easement rights described as follows: Tax Map Key: 2-4-35: 6 Being a portion of Lot 1006, Grant 10913 to Ku Isaia Waiakea Homesteads, 2nd Series Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii Beginning at the southwest corner of this parcel of land, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "HALAI" being 18485.24 feet South and 4030.46 feet West thence running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South: 1. 1750 40' 645.88 feet along portion of Grant 10913; 2. 850 40' 15.00 feet along portion of Grant 10913; 3. 1750 40' 277.62 feet along remainder of Grant 10913; 4. 2650 40' 75.00 feet along portion of Lot 919, Grant 11162; 5. 3550 40' 923.50 feet along portion of Grant 10594; 6. 850 40' 60.00 feet along portion of Executive Order No. 634 to the point of beginning and containing an area of 59,574 square feet or 1.368 acres.
