Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires
that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring the
payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal
year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution
of the Council; and
WHEREAS, it is to the advantage of the County that the
helicopter service be contracted for a period beyond one year
but not exceeding three years;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That a contract for helicopter services be approved
for a period beyond one year but not exceeding three years;
and
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in the following
fiscal years to cover the obligation of the County under this
multi-year contract .
