Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Charter requires that any
contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds
from appropriations of a later fiscal year be approved by
resolution; and
WHEREAS, it is desired by the County to enter into a
longer-term contract for bus service between Kohala-Mauna Kea
Beach Hotel and Honokaa-Mauna Kea Beach Hotel;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the most advantageous
bus contract not exceeding three years for Kohala-Mauna Kea
Beach Hotel and Honokaa-Mauna Kea Beach Hotel routes be
approved and that necessary funds be provided in the following
fiscal years to cover the obligation of the County.
