REPEALING RESOLUTIONS NUMBERED 4, 5, 61 71 8, 9, 10, AND 11,
ALL ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 4, 1972, APPOINTING MEMBERS AND
DESIGNATING CHAIRMEN AND VICE CHAIRMEN OF THE FORMER EIGHT
STANDING COMMITTEES, AND APPOINTING MEMBERS AND DESIGNATING
CHAIRMEN AND VICE CHAIRMEN OF FOUR STANDING COMMITTEES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE .COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Resolutions numbered 4, 51 61 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, all
adopted on December 4, 1972, appointing members and designating
the Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, of the Agricultural
and Visitor Industry Committee; the Finance Committee; the
Legislative Committee; the Planning, Research and Development
Committee; the Public Safety and Transportation Committee; the
Public Works Committee; the Recreation Committee; and the
Social and Cultural Development Committee, are hereby repealed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions
of Section 2 of Rule 5 (Committees) and Rule 6 ( Standing
Committees) of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the
County of Hawaii, as amended, the following members, including
the councilman to be elected by the public in November, 1974,
are hereby appointed, and the following Chairmen and Vice
Chairmen designated to the following Standing Committees:
A. Finance Committee
1. Ikuo Hisaoka, Chairman
2. Frank De Luz, III, Vice Chairman
3. John Farias, Jr.
4. Tomio Fujii
5. William S. Kawahara
6. Dante K. Carpenter
B. Planning, Research, Development, and Legislative
