RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 259, ADOPTED ON
AUGUST 7, 1974, RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Rule 6 of the Rules of Procedure, adopted by Resolution
No. 259 on August 7, 1974, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"a. There shall be four (4) Standing Committees,
consisting of at least six members each, and these
Standing Committees shall be:
1. A Finance Committee
2. A Planning, Research, Development and
Legislative Committee
3. A Public Works Committee
4. A Recreation and Transportation Committee
`gib. There shall be a subcommittee established
-under the Planning, Research, Development and Legislative
Committee, said subcommittee to be entitled the Legislative
Committee. The following councilmen are hereby appointed
and the following Chairman and Vice Chairman designated
to the subcommittee:
"Legislative Committee:
1. Frank De Luz, III, Chairman
2. Josephine Yadao, Vice Chairman
3. Dante Carpenter
4. Ikuo Hisaoka
5. John Farias, Jr."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall take
effect upon its approval.
