RESOLUTION O. 4
WHEREAS, LILY ALICUDEN the 1973 Retired Senior
Volunteer Prograrp., award winner, devotes countless hours
towards community service: and
MEREAS, LILY ALICUBEN coordinates the activities of
Papaikou RSVP women volunteers at Hilo Hospital by aiding
in the laundry and occupational therapy departments; and
WHEREAS, LILY ALICUBEN, a talented musician, provides
hula and ukulele lessons for retirees at the Aikane Center,
Salvation Army and Ghana Center; and
WHEREAS, she has earned the distinction of being the
only "three star" award recipient, a volunteer with six
hundred or more hours of service in the Retired Senior
Volunteer Program- and
Program-
WHEREAS, her demonstration of unselfish attitudes and
service exemplify a character of the highest calibre.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL or THE
COUNTY OF IMNAII that this body recognize and commend the
contributions of LILY ALICUBEN to the County of Hawaii.
BE IT FURTMER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby directed to fonniard a true copy of this resolution
to LILY ALICULEN.
