WHERFAS,p IS KI HASPI.I1,10TO, a former woodworking and
construction instructor at the Kulani Honor Camp, has been
selected Hawaii County's outstanding Retired Senior Volunteer;

WHEREAS, ISAMI HASHIMOTO has demonstrated his unselfish
attitude on numerous occasion by donating his time by aiding
other ill and disabled senior citizens- and

WHEREAS, his achievements include the design and construc-
tion of furniture, building extensions and a float in the 1974
International Festival Parade; and
WHEREAS, ISAMI HASHIMOTO supervised volunteers' construction
Projects for the Special Education Center of Hilo7 and
WHEREAS., he was presented a second award, a roundtrip to
Honolulu, by the Kiwanis Club of Hilo for his outstanding service;
and
WHEREAS, ISAMI 11ASHIM101'O continues to maintain a full and
productive life by his participation in the RSVP and in his
personal endeavors; and
WHEREAS,, he has earned a reputation of having "done
everything".
1-101,71 THEREFORE, BE IT RE -SOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HIU%IAII that this body extend to ISP"74I HASHIMOTO its warmest
congratulations on being selected the outstanding Retired Senior
Volunteer of Hawaii Coun ty.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is
hereby directed to forward a true copy of this resolution to
ISMII HASHIMOTO.
