Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawai`i Revised Statutes, as amended, we request
attorney-client confidential discussion in executive session to consult with the County Council
on questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties,privileges, immunities and liabilities
regarding the above-entitled matter, including a discussion regarding whether to indemnify Jody
Buddemeyer. We ask that this case be placed on the Council's January 23, 2019 agenda. We
also kindly ask that this request be waived through committee due to our short deadlines.
