,M'JEREAS.,, on November 16, 1974, the Dragons of Honokaa
High School annexed for the second straight year the Big
Island Interscholastic Federation football championship with
a 18 to 6 victory over the Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and
* WHEREAS., under the guidance of head coach Jim Barry,
assistant coaches Brocky Joaquin, Clayton Forsythe and
Mitchell Kanehailua, the Dragons climaxed their season with
a 7 win and 1 loss record.- and

at home in league play dating back to 1972-

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IRXSOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OP 111AWAII that it takes this means to congratulate
the Dragons of Honokaa High School for successfully defending
the Big Island Interscholastic Federation Football title for
the second consecutive year; and
BE IT FURTHER RE -SOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
11awaii be and is hereby directed to forward a copy of this
resolution to the Honokaa High & Flementany School.
