December 1 - 5, 1974, in Chicago, DIME NIABARA, a freshman
at Hilo College, was awarded a $7PO scholarship as one of
eight national winners in the 4-P. Home Management program;
and
1�-7HEPFASf Dl-,T.Nlr NIPIPARA was selected for her accomplishments
in 4-1.1 projects and activities and her leadership development
and growth in personal, community, and civic responsibilities. -

WEER.713JAS , -)IAN,,-r NIABARA's previous activities in six years
of 4-11 work have included consixner education, dairy focds,
and reigning as Hawaii County's "Dairy Princess"; and
V41TEREAS , as a representative from. Hawaii , the seventeen-
year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nahara has brought
honor to her family, to 4-F work in lawail, and to the County
and State of Hawaii; and
WHMEAS, the 1-17-ounty of Hawaii is proud of this talented
and versatile young lady and it is befitting that we hereby
recognize DIANE NABARA's national achievement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it extends its sincere congratulations
and warm wishes for continuing success, happiness and
fulfillment in the future to DIAVE NABARA.
BF IT FUPT-TIERRESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be and is hereby directed to transmit true copies of
this resolution to DIANE NARARA and to her parents,, Mr. and
Mrs. Gary 4abara of !Tilo., County and state of Hawaii, in
recognition of their daughter's notable accomplishment.
