Hawaii State Association of Counties, has served with this
Association since its inception in 1959,- and
WHEREAS, among the present merbers of HSAC, RON BENNETT
is affectionately regarded as the '17cather (and at times 1,4other)
of HSAC*' with the most senior status and

WhERIFAS, aside fron his responsibilities as Executive
Secretary of ESAC, `,?on occasionally finds tiTne to serve in
his other capacity ar-ft Pdminist rat ive Assistant to the Council
Chairaian of the City and C'nunty of Honolulu; and

VIFEREAS, Ron is blessed with an extraordinary gift of gab
and a remarkable affinity for figures which, by coincidence,
are the essential qualifications necessary of the HSAC Executive
Secretary; and
WHEREAS, as the planner and chief negotiator of most h1SAC
sponsored events, Ron has done a conrendable job in always
getting the best for the least cost! and
TrITHEREAS, although chided often for his overzealousness
and ""other Hen" handling of 1JSAC affairs, Ron is without a
doubt the most efficient and respected 'Mother Hen" in the
entire ESAC.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MEIMBERS OF THE
F'AWAII COUNITY COUINCIL that they take this means to recognize.
the HONORABLE RON BENNETT for the outstanding job he has done
as Lxecutive Secretary of HSAC for the past 15 years.
BL IT FURTUrR RESOLVED that with this recognition, we
also send our love and appreciation to a terrific guy.
Br, Irll FINALLY RP -SOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be instructed to transmit this Resolution to the
Honorable President of JISAC., George Koga,, to be presented to
Ron at the appropriate time and occasion.
