Resolution
WHEREAS, Sec. 2 of Ordinance No. 69 provides that the County
Council may, by resolution approved by a majority of its members,
dispose of real property; and
WHEREAS, the County recently acquired the former Tony Leeb Realty
Office on Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, TMK 7-5-05-65 for the purpose
of widening Palani Road; and
WHEREAS, the building must be removed prior to commencement
of work on that section of Palani Road;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. In accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 69,
the Director of Finance be authorized to dispose by public auction
the building that was formerly used as the Tony Leeb Realty Office
situated on Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, TMK 7-5-05-65;
2. The Director of Finance determine reasonable terms and
conditions of the auction;
3. If no acceptable bids are received, that the building be
demolished and removed expeditiously.
