It is my understanding that Bill 10 does not include a funding request for Highway 132. Resolution 732 passed by the Council last year set as a priority the reopening of Highway 132. There are multiple effects beyond the immediate strain on the people that cannot access their property and homes. I am one of those who has lost access to my land. There are unsafe levels of traffic now going through residential areas and large dump trucks hauling cinder on narrow roads. There would also be a problem if there was a need for a rapid evacuation. I believe the County can get the Federal assistance on this and can't understand any reason not to proceed as soon as possible with the plan(as stated in resolution 732)to reestablish Highway 132. The citizens of Lower Puna need your help. Please request the funding to get Highway 132 reopened all the way to the former Kapoho/Four corners areas.Thank you for your consideration and assistance with this urgent matter. Sincerely, Claire McGuire P 0 Box 901 Palma,HI 96778 11'Q Comm.mm. No. " . p RRefef. Date To: JAN 0 $ 2019
