No. 39 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Safety, to which was referred Communication No. 39, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 39, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 19, 2018, nominates <br /> Paula Thomas to the Liquor Commission. <br /> Paula Thomas stated a few words expressing her anticipation and commitment to serve on the <br /> Liquor Commission. She has served the community in various aspects and wanted to try a new <br /> experience in serving the community by applying for the Liquor Commission. She is very <br /> pleased that she is being nominated. <br /> Council Members spoke in support of Ms. Thomas' nomination.
