No. 51 <br /> PLACE: Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:05 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Public Safety, to which was referred Communication No. 51,reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 51, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated December 27, 2018, nominates <br /> Thomas Brown to the Police Commission. <br /> Mr. Brown stated a few words expressing his pleasure and honor to volunteer to serve on the <br /> Police Commission. He has been retired for the past seven years and is looking forward to giving <br /> back to the community by being available to hear raised concerns. He will also be able to assist <br /> with the budget and filling of vacancies. <br /> Council Members as a whole are in support of the nomination.
