AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-113 (SOUTH HILO DISTRICT ZONE MAP),
ARTICLE 3, CHAPTER 25 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, BY
CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM AGRICULTURAL (A-10a) TO
AGRICULTURAL (A-5a) AT KAIEIE, SOUTH HILO, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP
KEY 2-7-5:12.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 25-113, Article 3, Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County
Code, is amended to change the district classification of property described hereinafter as
follows:
The district classification of the following area situated at Kaieie, South Hilo,
Hawaii, shall be Agricultural (A-5a):
Beginning at the northwest corner of this parcel of land, and on the south side of Kaieie
Homestead Road, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government
Survey Triangulation Station "PAHIHA" being 1,704.40 feet North and 2,932.70 feet
West and running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1. 271° 18' 30" 257.44 feet along the south side of Kaieie
Homestead Road;
2. 265° 23' 281.04 feet along the south side of Kaieie
Homestead Road;
3. 358° 23' 1088.55 feet along Lot 5-A, being a subdivision of
Lot 5 of Kaieie Homesteads;
4. 79° 15' 10" 216.80 feet along the land of Paihaaloa;
5. 93° 30' 325.00 feet along the land of Papaikou;
6. 178° 23 1092.40 feet along Lot 7-B, being a subdivision of
Lot 7 of Kaieie Homesteads to the point of
beginning and containing an area of 13.576
acres.
All as shown on the map attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by reference
made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
