Commission
Thank you for forwarding my nomination of Riley Smith to the Kailua Village
Design Commission to the full Council with a positive recommendation during the
February 4, 2019 meeting of your Committee on Planning.
Please note that, pursuant to Hawai'i County Code § 25-7-2(b), if confirmed, Mr.
Smith may serve the remainder of a term that ends on December 31, 2019. He will then
be eligible for reappointment to a full three-year term. We apologize this was not noted
during Committee.
