Kierkiewicz, Council Member SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Exhibit A of Bill No. 12, Draft 2, Relating to Lava Disaster Relief in Lower Puna Please see below proposed amendments to Exhibit A of Bill No. 12, Draft 2. The amendments will add new projects to Exhibit A to be funded from the 2018 Lava Disaster Relief- Private account. The proposed amendments are illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Exhibit A of Bill No. 12, Draft 2; material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken and material to be added is underscored. 1. Increases the funding for DEPARTMENT OF PARKS &RECREATION to read as follows: "DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION [$51,467.00] $54,275.00" 2. Adds a new project to be listed under DEPARTMENT OF PARKS &RECREATION to read as follows: "Volcano Cooper Center-support recovery activities" 3. Adds a new department and project to read as follows: "POLICE DEPARTMENT $15,000.00 Safety efforts in Leilani Estates" A draft copy of Exhibit A of Bill No. 12, Draft 2, with these proposed changes incorporated therein is attached.
