Dear Chair Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Arne Werchick to the Kailua Village Design Commission.
Currently the Friends of the Library— Kona Board Secretary, Mr. Werchick may fill a
seat on the Commission who represents a property owner in the Kona district.
Mr. Werchick is a retired attorney with a Juris Doctor from University of California, Boalt
Hall.
Expressing a lifelong interest in community planning and development, Mr. Werchick
previously served on the County Board of Appeals and has conducted numerous
lectures.
Mr. Werchick indicates that he is a member of the Democratic Party. If confirmed, he
may serve a full term of 3 years.
