Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 58-19, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 58-19, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 111 dated
January 31, 2019, authorizes the Mayor to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement with the State of
Hawai`i,Hawai`i Public Housing Authority, and authorizes a multi-year contract for the use of the
Kea'au Nutrition Center—Hale Aloha 0 Puna located at 16-189 Pili Mua Street, Kea`au, Hawai`i
96749, Tax Map Key: 1-6-143:35.
This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a three-year facility lease agreement at an estimated
monthly cost of$125, with the option of two one-year extensions. The facility would be used for
congregate dining, information and assistance, classes and workshops, and meeting and assessments.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 58-19, and •
recommends its adoption.
