Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 25, reports as follows:
Bill No. 25, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna Sako, via Communication No. 107 dated
January 31, 2019, amends Ordinance No. 18-68, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2019.
This bill increases revenues in the Federal Grants— Senior Community Service Employment Program
account ($4,778); and appropriates the same to the Senior Community Service Employment Program—
Salary and Wages account,bringing the total appropriation to $342,049. Funds would be used for the
Department of Parks and Recreation's Senior Training Employment program.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 25, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
