;NLEREAs, on January 24, 1975, CAkTAIA HENRY L. FREITAS,
Hamakua Police Captain for four years, was recognized as
the Outstanding Boss of the Year" by tne Hamakua Jaycees; and
WHEREAS, CAPTAIN HENRY L. FREITAS has actively participated
in various capacities in the following worthwhile community
activities: ionokaa Lions Club Director, honokaa Community
Federal Credit Union Director, Our Lady Lourdes Catholic
Advisory Board member, hamakua District Development Council
member, Eagle Scouts Board of Review, honokaa High School
PTSA member, Hamakua Traffic Safety Council member, Hamakua
dwahities Project participant, Hamakua Lions Club Blood Bank
Chairman, and Chairman of the Spencer Park Beautification
Project; and
WhERI:AS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is very
proud and honored to recognize an outstanding boss as
CAPTAIN HENRY L. FREITAS and wishes to express its
congratulations for his outstanding services and accomplishments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED 3Y TUE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that CAPTAIN HENRY L. FRkITAS be and is hereby
commended and congratulated for being chosen "outstanding
Boss of the Year and is hereby extended the Council' s warmest
appreciation and "mahaloin recognition of his continuing
and outstanding work as a dedicated public servant of the
people of the County of Hawaii.
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a true copy of this resolution
be transmitted by the County Clerk to CAPTAIN HENRY L. FREITAs
as evidence of the gratitude of the people of the County of
dawaii and of the County Council's deep appreciation and
respect for CAPTAIN FREITAS' unselfish devotion and
enthusiasm in serving the people of our County.
