Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 2 of Ordinance No. 69 provides for disposi-
tion of real property upon approval of a resolution by a
majority of the members of the County Council;
WHEREAS, the Roman Catholic Church is desirous of purchasing
a 60-foot strip of land across the County-owned Pahoa Neighborhood
Facilities land to provide access to Church property (T.M.K. 1-5-01: 3) ;
and
WHEREAS, the County in its negotiations with the Church to
purchase the Pahoa Playground property agreed to the sale of
the strip of land;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. In accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 69,
and other applicable laws, the Director of Finance be authorized
to dispose by public auction, a 60-foot strip of land at the
south boundary of the Pahoa Neighborhood Facilities property;
and
2. The Director of Finance determine reasonable terms and
conditions of the public auction.
