Resolution No. 353
REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 260 , APPOINTING MEMBERS AND DESIGNATING
CHAIRMEN AND VICE CHAIRMEN OF THE FOUR STANDING COMMITTEES AND
THE LEGISLATIVE SUBCOMMITTEE, AND APPOINTING MEMBERS AND
DESIGNATING CHAIRMEN AND VICE CHAIRMEN OF FOUR STANDING COMMITTEES
AND THE LEGISLATIVE SUBCOMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that Resolution No. 260, adopted on August 7, 1974, appointing
members and designating the Chairman and Vice Chairman,
respectively, of the Finance Committee; the Planning, Research,
Development and Legislative Committee; the Public Works Committee;
and the Recreation and Transportation Committee, is hereby
repealed.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to the provisions
of Section 2 of Rule 5 (Committees) and Rule 6 (Standing
Committees) of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the
County of Hawaii, as amended, the following members are hereby
appointed, and the following Chairmen and Vice Chairmen
designated to the following Standing Committees :
A. Finance Committee
1. Ikuo Hisaoka, Chairman
2. Merle K. Lai, Vice Chairman
3. Frank De Luz, III
4. Tomio Fujii
5. William S. Kawahara
6 . Dante K. Carpenter
B. Planning, Research, Development, and Legislative
Committee
