WHEREAS, RONALD KEIJI TOMA, son of Mr. & Mrs. Shinji Toms.
of Kurtistown, has been selected as the State of Hawaii's
1975 Teacher of the Year7 and
WHEREAS, RONALD K. TOMA is a product of our Big Island
school system having attended Kurtistown Elementary, Keaau
Intermediate and 1i10 High schools; and
WHEREAS, in his present capacity as a chemistry teacher
at Moanalua High School in Central Oahu, he has gained
statewide recognition as an outstanding member of the teaching
profession and for his dedication to the students and community
he serves; and
WHEREAS, RONALD K. TOMA is an excellent representative
of Hawaii teachers in which this State and especially his
home island of Hawaii can take pride;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY or HAWAII that this body extends its congratulations
to RONALD K. TOMA, the State of Hawaii' s Teacher of the Year
and wish him best wishes in his quest for national honors.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution
be transmitted to RONALD K. TOMA and Mr. & 1rs. Shinji Toma.
