Resolution
WHEREAS, a new road, known commonly as the Hawaii Belt Road, has been con-
structed in Keei, South Kona, County and State of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, a road remnant of the Old Government Road is no longer of any
use to the County of Hawaii as a public roadway;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
the road remnant of the Old Government Road located in Keei, South Kona, Hawaii,
as delineated in red on the map attached hereto and marked Exhibit B, be and is
hereby declared abandoned as a roadway.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized and directed
to forward a copy of this resolution to Mr. Robert L. Gordon, Department of
Land and Natural Resources of the State of Hawaii, and the Department of Public
Works of the County of Hawaii.
