Resolution
WHEREAS, Hawaii County has been operating ALAE CEMETERY
since the early 1920' s ; and
WHEREAS, Hawaii County has been operating ALAE CEMETERY
not for profit but to provide a service to the general
population; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide inexpensive burial plots to
indigents, to individuals with fixed income and to those who
cannot well afford a plot in a private cemetery in these days
of spiraling inflation, it is necessary that ALAE CEMETERY be
expanded; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Council approved Ordinance
No . 46, effective date July 1 , 1974, which appropriated money
for the expansion of ALAE CEMETERY,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that it approves the location and boundaries
of ALAE CEMETERY and its expansion, as described in the
"DESCRIPTION OF ALAE CEMETERY" attached hereto and made a
part hereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County
Council transmit a certified copy of this resolution to
Honorable Ronald Amemiya, Attorney General of the State of
Hawaii ; and to the Cemetery Board, Department of Regulatory
Agencies, State of Hawaii.

Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of this parcel of land,
on the West side of Hawaii Belt Road, the coordinates of said point
of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station
"Haaheo", being 2290.E6 feet North and 529.77 feet West and running
by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
