WLLRLAS, MR. YTJTAKA KINIT.TRA, who was born in Kamuela
seventy years ago, has unselfishly devoted his time in
serving his community in many civic activities and events : and
WHEREAS, MR. YUTAKA KIMURA is the president of the Waimea
Senior Citizens Club, which he he3nPd orclaniTe in 1969 . and
of the Parks and Recreation Senior Citizen Advisory Board; and
WHEREAS, VTR. YUTAKA KIMURA, who was president of the
liongwonji Mission from 1969-1974 , is cfurrentiy a director of
the Waimea Hongwanji, an advisor to the Japanese Civic Club,
a vice -president of the Big Island Japanese Community Associa-
tion, and is a coordinator for the Senior Citizen Transportation
in Vaillea, an
WHEREAS, MR. YUTAKA KIMURA had been deservingly selected
as one of the two Outstanding Older Americans of Hawaii County
