Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for a multi-function copy machine for the Mass
Transit Agency. The estimated monthly cost will be approximately$200.

A. REQUEST:
Please prepare a resolution allowing Mass Transit to lease a multifunction machine (copy, fax, scan, print)
for a sixty (60) month period. Approximately $192.69 per month.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Mass Transit's current multifunction machine was purchased in 2006 and warranty and service agreement
has expired. Continuous jamming and servicing affects productivity and efficiency of the Mass Transit
Agency. The machine is old and uneconomical to repair.
Mass Transit will use Federal operating funds to lease the equipment.
