RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of May, 1975, MISS ANGELI L. MIRANDA,
20-year old junior at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, was
chosen to be this year's Zig Island Miss Hawaii Filipina; and
WHEREAS, MISS ANGELI L. MIRANDA, as an audience-favored,
was selected for her beauty, charm, and talent over a field
of other talented contestants vying for the title of Miss Hawaii
Filipina; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is proud of the talented
and lovely MISS ANGELI L. MIRANDA, Miss Hawaii Filipina, for
her wonderful personality, accomplishment, beauty, and talent,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that warm congratulations and sincere wishes
for continuing happiness and success in the future be extended
to MISS ANGELI L. MIRANDA, Miss Hawaii Filipina of 1975.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Hawaii be and is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of this
resolution to the parents of MISS ANGELI L. MIRANDA, Mr. and
Mrs. Cezar Miranda, of Okinawa, in recognition of their daughter's
notable and deserving accomplishment.
