WHEREAS , the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of May 8 , 1975, approved the following names for certain unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii , State of Hawaii : Puu Nani Subdivision, Unit 4 , Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii Hohola Drive - meaning to unfold, spread, extend Kalae Place - meaning clear and calm Kolohala Place - meaning pheasant Punohu Place - meaning ascend as smoke Puulapa Place - meaning slope of hill Puuluna Place - meaning upper hill or overlooking Puuohu Place - meaning foggy or misty hill Puumao Street - meaning green hill NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the said roadways located in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, be named as follows : Puu Nani Subdivision, Unit 4 , Waimea, South Kohala, Hawaii (delineated on map attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof) Hohola Drive - meaning to unfold, spread, extend Kalae Place - meaning clear and calm Kolohala Place - meaning pheasant Punohu Place - meaning ascend as smoke Puulapa Place - meaning slope of hill Puuluna Place - meaning upper hill or overlooking Puuohu Place - meaning foggy or misty hill Puumao Street - meaning green hill Dated at Hilo, Hawaii , this 18th day of June 1975 .
