I write in support of Resolution 87-19.
As an evacuee during the recent erruption I belive that involving the whole Puna community
in healing through art can only be benificial. I believe this sort of creative process will help us
come to terms with accepting the great lose that was experienced and moving on from this
lose.
Many people in Puna are suffering from PTSD as a result of the erruption.
Acceptance through experiencing art can be very healing.
I ask that you please pass this resolution and support the healing that needs to happen, for the
people of Puna.
