Dear Chairman Chung and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate David Huerta of Kailua-Kona to the Kona Community
Development Action Committee. Mr. Huerta is a Project Manager for Seven Multi Site
Solutions, a national construction management service company. He previously worked
as a project manager both in commercial and residential construction with Kohanaiki
Development, Ryan Associates and Tinguely Development in Kailua-Kona.
Mr. Huerta obtained a Business Administration degree from Southern Oregon State
University and an Engineering Tech degree from Diablo Valley College in California. He
is a US Veteran, having served in the US Marine Corp and US Army Reserved.
Mr. Huerta is active in our community and volunteers with the Ironman World
Championship, Habitat for Humanity, and assist with various fundraising efforts.
Mr. Huerta has been a resident of Hawai'i for the past 15 years. He states he is not a
member of any political party. If confirmed, he will fill a hold over term to end
May 31, 2021.
