I am pleased to notify you that your application for a 2019 RSVP grant has been approved by the Corporation for
National and Community Service (CNCS)for a grant award.
Your accomplishment is significant. As part of a rigorous review process, all applications were assessed based on the
criteria established in the Notice of Funding Opportunity. Each proposal was analyzed by a blended panel of external
and internal reviewers. Proposals receiving a favorable review rating were recommended for consideration by the Chief
Executive Officer, who made award determinations.
Your RSVP project is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2019. In the coming weeks, the Hawaii State Office of CNCS will
ensure your application is ready for award on time. The Hawaii State Office will be your primary contact for technical
assistance and ensuring your project aligns with National Performance Measures during your project period. The
funding amount will be awarded just prior to the start of your RSVP project. In the coming weeks you will also be
provided with specific feedback regarding your application.

competition results are embargoed until public notification on March 4, 2019.
