She is a graduate of Punahou <br /> School, and holds a BA degree in Art History from Boston University and MA degree in <br /> Museum Studies from John Hopkins University. <br /> In addition to running her business, Ms. Hughes is also an independent curator and <br /> Director Emeritus and board member of Honolulu Biennial. She is the past editor of <br /> ArtAsia Pacific and Director and cofounder of Honolulu Biennial Foundation. <br /> Ms. Hughes states she is not affiliated with any political party.
