County of Hawaii--State of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 5-3. 3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii
requires that the Council designate the banks in which County
funds can be deposited;
WHEREAS, Act 51, Session Laws of Hawaii 1970, authorizes
the deposit of public funds in savings and loan associations
insured by the Federal Savings and Loan Corporation and authorized
to do business in this State; and
WHEREAS, Territorial Savings and Loan Association is insured
by the Federal Savings and Loan Corporation and has an office
in Kamuela;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
1. That Territorial Savings and Loan Association be approved
as a depository for County funds;
2. That the County Clerk be and he is hereby directed to
transmit certified copies of this Resolution to Territorial
Savings and Loan Association of Kamuela and to the Director of
Finance of the County of Hawaii; and
3. That this Resolution be effective immediately.
