Defense Agency, retired as of July 31, 19757 and
WhERAS, during tue course of serving with the Hawaii
County Civil Defense agency, MYROA O. IaciERWOOD was honored
for his outstanding work and longstanding professionalism,
par excellence, in the field of emergency preparedness and
WHEREAS, NY-A-0:N O. ISHERWOOD was also cited for demonstrating
outscanoing executive competency in times of disaster and
for dedication to duty on behalf of our community in minimizing
the great and potential effects of natural and man-caused
disasters: and
WI,L;REAS; in developing the County of Hawaii's plan,
.1Y/O., O. ISHERWOOD implemented the State of Hawaii's first
energency resources management plan,
