RLAS, at a rc,cently held national convention:
PIILANI C. DLsa , a Big Island businesswoman, was selected
and installed into the office of First Vice President of the
National Federation of Business and Professional Women's
Clubs , Inc. ; and
AL-EREAS, tne National Federation of Business and
Professional Worzten's Clubs, Inc. , was founded in 1919 to
promotethe interests of working women; and
WULREAS, PIILANI C. DESHA, a native of Hilo, is the
former President of the Hawaii Federation of Business and
?rofessior;al Women' s Clubs, Inc. ; and
WAS, PIILAiiI C. DESdA served the flawaii Island
schools as a secretary for 16 years and later became the
personnel administrator of the University of Hawaii Peace
eor]?s Training Center; and
WaEREAS , besias being actively involved in a real
estatc career, the Ilawaii County Republican Party, and the
American Red Cross , PIILMI C. DESEA was recently appointed
to a three-year tern on the Defense Advisory Committee on
