WHEREAS , Mr. Elvin Kamoku, Fire Chief, nominated
MISS DORIS K. L. CHING as a candidate for the County Government
Supervisory Employee of the Year on the basis that MISS CHING,
as an intelligent and dedicated employee , has demonstrated
outstanding knowledge of policies , regulations and memoranda
of the County of Hawaii ; MISS CHING effectively provided the
administrative staff with required guidance during daily
operations; MISS CHING evidenced outstanding leadership,
quality of work, adaptability and the ability to plan, organize
and resolve Problems while enhancing working relations with
other governmental agencies and the general public; and
MISS CHING has provided workable solutions to department
personnel which have eliminated probable grievances ; and
WHEREAS , on October 17 , 1975 , MISS DORIS K. L. CHING of
the Hawaii :Tire Department , County of Hawaii , was chosen Hawaii
County Government Supervisory Employee of the year and was
awarded a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of
outstanding public services rendered to the County of Hawaii
and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is very
honored and proud to have such an outstanding employee as
MISS DORIS K. L. CHING working in the County government and
wishes to warmly express its congratulations and gratitude for
her outstanding services and accomplishments ,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that MISS DORIS K. L. CHING be, and is hereby, commended
and congratulated for being chosen Hawaii County Government
Supervisory Employee of the Year and is hereby extended the
Council's sincere appreciation and mahalo in recognition of the
continuing and outstanding work as a dedicated public servant of
the people of the County of Hawaii .
BE IT FURTHER FESOLVED that a true copy of this resolution
be transmitted by the County Clerk to MISS DORIS K. L. CHING
as evidence of the gratitude of the people of the County of
Hawaii and of the County Council 's deep respect and appreciation
for MISS DORIS K. L. CHINC 's faithful, honorable and dedicated
service to the public as an employee of the County of Hawaii .
