RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has been an increasing tendency for members
of our society to depend upon the government alone to provide
benefits that will accrue to the public generally; and
WHFREPS , it is refreshing and heartening in these times
to witness individuals exercise private initiative in cooperation
with County government to provide for the public good ; and
WhFREAS, and ''rs . Guy Stillman are vitally interested in
the improvement of the hohala District, County of Hawaii and have
ercie2 private initiative to provide for the public welfare by
offering and conveying certain materials and equipment services
to the County in order that over one-half mile of County road could
he constructed to improve the County's road system in Kohala,
said materials and services being those listed below

THERFPORE , BE IT RESOLVED Mr THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF EAWAII that "r. and Mrs . Guy Stillman be recognized as outstanding
citizens of the County of Hawaii and that their gifts in helping
to provicie for the county *Thad System be accepted with great
appreciation .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Fa,yaii be and is hereby instructee, to transmit true copies of
this resolution to Tit'. and Vrs . Cuy Stillman.
