WHEREAS, effective December l5, 1975, CLARISSA ANDERSON,
warm and congenial Administrative Aide to the Mayor, will resign
after a year of dedicated service with the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, CLARISSA ANDERSON will leave for Maui to assist
in the launching of a second cable TV operation on that island
as Director of Marketing and Community Relations; and
WHEREAS, CLARISSA ANDERSON, a former school teacher in Ka'u,
Puerto Rico and Ecuador, a Peace Corps training aide and travel
agent, joined the Mayor' s staff immediately following his election;
and
WHEREAS, while serving as Administrative Aide, she also acted
as the Officer of Information and Complaints, handling all assign-
ments in a conscientious and efficient fashion; and
WHEREAS, although CLARISSA ANDERSON's tenure with Hawaii
County lasted for only a year, here hard work, drive and accomplish-
ments deserve high praise and recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it takes this means to commend CLARISSA ANDERSON
for a job well done and extend best wishes in her future endeavors
with CAMP, Inc. , on Maui.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
be and is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of this resolution
to CLARISSA ANDERSON.
